For Lilac and Carter, Vermont holds a special place in their heart. Not only is it where Lilac spent her childhood, it’s also where the two of them started their story together. It was only fitting it would also be the place where they would run off to start the next phase of their lives together.

When I got the call from Lilac that she and Carter were making secret the trip up to Vermont to get married I dropped everything to be there with them.
